The new month September has begun and certainly it is fresher from time to time.
I've had a very busy couple of days trying to sort out my kitchen garden produce.
My vegetable patch is not big, but is quite porductive for what it is.
Well, I try to preserve the fruits of my labour as much as I can and am trying to eat them as well.

I pickled "Cornichons" (some grew into the giant size!), "Nasturtium" seeds, Japanese ginger "Myoga" and still made more "Elderberry" jam!
Phew! Enough to do in a day!
When I get to busy like today, I don't know why I slave myself to grow fruits and vegetables throughout the summer and don't know why I spend so much time standing in the kitchen all day to create something out of them.
To some extent, I'm a bit bonkers and to some people who don't grow stuff, it's not such a big deal!
What can I say?
Watching a tiny seed grow into something we can eat is very satisfying and after all I just love the whole process!
