Flashnote & ClipDiary

From the people who brought us Flashpaste, here are couple of other nice downloads that are available.

Flashnote
This is just something to copy to quickly, make a note or two or three, etc. Use a simple keyboard shortcut, write, cut, copy or paste, it's saved automatically for the next time you want it.

Push Esc to exit quickly. A big time saver.

ClipDiary
Copy something to your clipboard and ...oops, copied over it with soemthing else? I hate it when that happens. ClipDiary helps out by retaining everything that you copy (and I mean everything so be careful and delete things like passwords etc)

I've used it for a few days so far and like it a lot.

Aviation Humor

Good to know pilots have a sense of humor...

But this might be a cause for concern...

Not the kind of place I'd like to see the Blue Screen of Death :-)

Google Fight

Gee, I've been meaning to post for a while now... :-(

Anyway, here's something I saw the other day that I thought was worth a minute or two's amusement.

Don't forget to have a look at the funny fights. Here's the link :-)

The Straight Dope

This category was a hard one to decide but I settled on Cool.

When not writing my blog or studying Excel, I like to take time off to surf the Internet. One interesting site I have come across in my travels through the ether is "The Straight Dope".

Ask Cecil Adams, the world's smartest human being a serious or silly question and he just might answer. A thick skin and sense of humor may be an advantage ;-)

Sento

Last night I went to my local Sento (Bathhouse). I haven't been for quite a while but I decided I should try to go at least once or twice a week.

There is a very detailed link at Wikipedia.

It's generally a good place to relax. Also, don't be surprised if somebody starts up a conversation, a foreigner is still not that common a sight.
