My friend and I were hanging out in Fitzroy for lunch.
We hadn't decided where we should have lunch,though.
When we'd passed one of the cafe,he said "This cafe is always crowded..."
So we went in the cafe.

友達と二人で、ランチを食べようと、Fitzroyをぶらぶらしていた。
何処のカフェにするかは決めていなかったけど。
とあるカフェの前を通り過ぎた時、彼が"ここのカフェはいつも混んでる..."
といったので、この店に入ってみた。

I had this dish.
"Parmesan Scrambled eggs w/ roasted tomatos" $12.90.
I love rosted tomatos,especially,comes with fatty egg dish.
It's perfect combination,isn't it?

私は"パルメザンチーズ入りスクランブル・エッグとロースト・トマト"を。
ロースト・トマト、特に脂っこい卵料理に添えられているのが好き。
完璧な組み合わせ、でしょ？

This seanery was used for Music Video of "Tomorrow Never Knows
(Mr.Children)".
I heardly listen Japanese music but Mr.Children is an exception.
I love their songs,especially,their earlier works.
That's why,here was one of the place I wanted to visit.
And,I did!

この景色は、ミスチルのミュージック・ビデオ"Tomorrow Never Knows"
に使われたもの。
日本の曲は殆ど聴かないけれど、ミスチルは別。
特に、彼等の初期の作品が好き。
なので、ここは行ってみたかった場所のひとつ。

I encountered with a wild Koara on the way to Twelve Apostles.
The shape of curling into a ball was so cute.

１２使徒への道の途中で、野生のコアラに遭遇。
ボールのように体を丸めた姿が、とってもかわいかった。

I am sorry I can't send each of you.

How's your 2008?
My 2008 had a good luck to meet wonderful people,as did 2007!


I'm living in Melbourne now.
I'm working in restaurant and enjoying it.
Yeah,I really love Melbourne!
Beautiful buildings and parks,cool cafes and restaurants...
What's more,I'v got a lot of wounderful friends in here.

But as time goes by,I realize my Englishi isn't enough
to work and enjoy my life.
So I feel like I haven't really took advantage of my situation
even I'm in good one.

But my Working Holiday Visa expires with February.
So I was thinking what can i do? What should I do?
I know It's a good idea to study English in language school again.
But I'v already realized my problem is
I couldn't catch up local person's conversation.
As they talk quickly and use a lot of slangs.
So that I was thinking I'd take cookery course in technical college.
It seems I'll be able to improve my English through this couse.
And the food service industry...
Yeah,That's exactly what I'm interested in.
Finally,I'v decided to extend my visa to change it to student one.


I dont't know if it'll work well or not.
But I just wanna try everything
if it seems to work for me to enjoy my life!

明けましておめでとうございます。
本年もよろしくお願い致します。

新年のご挨拶ですが、メールでの一斉送信にて失礼させていただきます。


２００８年、皆様にとってはどのような年でしたか？
私にとっては、２００７年同様、沢山の出会いに恵まれた一年でした。
ただ、英語力不足から、
せっかくの出会いを生かしきれなかった、
と感じることも多かったのが本当のところです。


私のＷＨビザは本年２月で期限切れとなります。
「いつ帰ってくるの？」というメールを多々頂きましたが、
私自身がまだ迷っていた為、返事を保留にさせていただいていました。
が、ようやく結論を出しました。
学生ビザに切り替えて、もうしばらくＡＵＳで生活します。


２００７年は、海外生活に慣れるので精一杯だった年。
２００８年は、沢山の出会いに恵まれた年。
２００９年は、
そんな出会いを生かして楽しい一年にしたい、と思っています。


皆様の２００９年が、素晴らしいものとなりますように。

Cafe(I forgot the name of this cafe...)@Glebe,Sydney

This emblem on the plate is cute!
Kangaroo and emu are often used for emblem in Australia
so I came across this kind of design(mark?) so many times.
But this cafe is kind of on the cutting-edge,
and they use this antique-looking stuff.
I think this imbalance makes its more cool!

このプレートのエンブレム、可愛い！
カンガルーとエミューは、オーストラリアではよくエンブレムに使われるので、
こんな感じのデザイン（マーク？）にはよく出会います。
でも、このカフェは最先端の部類なのに、
このアンティークっぽいお皿を使ってる。
このアンバランスが、さらにこの店をカッコよくしてるんだと思う。

Pyrmont is a one of my favorite area in Sydney.
It takes me only 15mins walk from CBD,but its has a cozy atmosphere.
What's more,there is a Pyrmont Bridge on the way to there.
The view from this bridge always reminds me that I'm in Sydney!
In addtion,One of the reason why I love this area is that
there is Somon Johnson(It's like SeijoIshii or Kinokuniya in Japan)!
There are some branch not only in Sydney but also in other states
but here is the best one for me.
Cos It has a huge cheese room,of course,I can taste it befor I take it:-)

ピアモントはシドニーでお気に入りの場所のひとつ。
市内から歩いて１５分程なのに、落ち着いた雰囲気を持ったエリア。
ピアモントへの道には、ピアモント・ブリッジがある。
この橋からの眺めはいつも、
「私はシドニーにいる！」って思い出させてくれる。
さらに、私がこのエリアが好きな理由の一つが、サイモン・ジョンソン
（日本で言ったら、成城石井とか紀伊国屋ってとこでしょうか？）があるから。
シドニーだけでなく、他の州にも支店があるけれど、ここが私にとって一番。
なぜなら、大きなチーズ・ルームがあるから。
もちろん、購入前に試食ができます。
