japanese guests
A lot of ski racers has been training here since a faw weeks ago. I forgot how many teams has come. I saw some japanese guests too. They also stay here for training, I'm not sure that they are national team though.
My roommate told me that he had a problem tonight because most of japanese guests couldn't speak in english at all. They just said their name and room number when they called to Central Check In, even though a stuff asked something. So my roommate went to their room to ask what they wanted. But you know, they couldn't speak. He didn't understand them unfortunately. I think that's a nice try to call CCI though.

Bindings
My cold was getting better because I had slept all day long yseterday. So I tried to find my bindings at Banff or Calgary. The shop in this resort told me they couldn't get black ones that I wanted, even I had ordered. And they couldn't get a snowboard case and a helmet as well.
I couldn't find them at Banff, but some shop in Calgary had stocked them. Finally, I got a snowbaord case, bindings and a helmet. Though I paied fifty bucks for gas, I was satisfied with it. It'll be a last thing to buy boots.

Shopping at Cranbrook
I went to Cranbrook today because my roommate and I needed to look for snowboard gear. My cold was bad though.
When we got there, I was not so bad. But my cold was getting worse during shopping. Finally, I bought a cold medicine.
It was first time to take a canadian one. It worked well for me than japanese one as they say. It must be stronger.

Sunshine Village
I went to Sunshine Village to snowboard today. I could get there by two hours driving. The ski resort has already opened last week. That opening date was one month earlier than this resort. Panorama is still not opened yet...
Sunshine was so big, even though it was halfway open. It was first time to snowboard in Canada. I was afraid of falling down because I saw a lot of rock surface on the snow. If I hit my head on the rock, I would die easily. I could understand that people die at ski resorts in Canada. I realized that I needed to buy a helmet for snowboarding.
There were some bad point about it actually. It's expensive to buy a lift ticket, even it's for only an afternoon. I had to rent a snowboard gear. I haven't snowboarded for two years. Even so, I had a good time there.

bruise
I slipped down on stairs in the job yesterday because of snow. There were only a few steps. I was thankful for small mercies. A co-worker suggested to talk to superviser about it to me. But I might not have done it. I've just wanted poultice.
My superviser asked me if I wanted to see a doctor. I responded that I didn't need it. She asked me if I was sure again. I couldn't reply. I was not sure if I was all right. So, she sent me to a hospital.
I was taken to hospital in town, my injury was not serious though. It was first time for me to see a doctor in Canada. The doctor examined my back and told me that it was probably just a bruise but let me take an x-ray to make sure it's not broken. Then, I was taken it. After that, he told me that the x-ray said it's ok. I responded that I had allready known before coming here.
