【5/22】次世代Macに搭載？？台湾NCC、802.11ac対応PCI-E mini 無線LAN+Bluetoothコンボカード「BCM94360CD」の写真を公開。

台湾NCC（国家通信放送委員会）のホームページに、次世代Macシリーズに搭載されそうな、Broadcomの802.11a/g/n/acに対応したPCI-E mini WLAN+Bluetoothコンボカード「Broadcom BCM94360CD」が登場してたと、9to5Mac が伝えています。

OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 の次期アップデート「OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4」のベータ版のコード内に、ギガビットWi-Fiこと第5世代無線LAN規格「IEEE 802.11ac」に関する記述が見つかっています。

【Abroのひとりごと】 現行の MacBook Pro with Retina Display に搭載されている、802.11n対応の「Broadcom BCM4331」とBluetooth 4.0対応の「Broadcom BCM20702」が搭載された「BCM94331CSAX」よりも、21.5インチ iMac (Late 2012) の「BCM94331CD」のワイヤレスモジュールに似てるね。

【DIGITIMES】Apple、まもなく第5世代iPadの試作開始？2013年7月より量産、9月に200～300万台出荷？？(5/20)

DIGITIMES が、台湾のサプライチェーンの情報筋によると、Appleの9.7インチ iPad Retinaディスプレイモデルの次期モデル「第5世代iPad」の試作が間もなく開始され、2013年7月に量産が始まり、9月に玄関200～300万台出荷されるようだと伝えています。

情報筋によると、現行モデルのiPad Retinaディスプレイモデル（第4世代）と比べ、新しいディスプレイのガラス基板の薄さが0.25ミリメートルから、0.2ミリメートルに薄くなり、狭いベゼルになっているそうです。

また、新しい5th-generation iPadは、タッチパネル技術が第4世代のGG方式から「GF2」に変更され、LEDライトバーが第4世代の2つから1つになり、本体重量が25％～33％軽量化されると予想されています。

5th-generation iPadのディスプレイは、LG Display、Samsung Display、Sharpが供給し、LEDライトバーはTSMT (Taiwan Surface Mounting Technology)、バックライトユニットをRadiant Opto-Electronics と Coretronic、タッチパネルの組立はTPKが担当しているそうです。

【Abroのひとりごと】 Abroは、第4世代iPadは見送って、iPad Retianディスプレイモデル(第3世代)から iPad mini に乗り換えてるので、今度は軽量化された「第5世代iPad」が本命だけど、第2世代iPad miniがRetinaディスプレイ＆省電力版A6X搭載で出てきちゃうと、ちょっと迷うな。。。

Abro的には、AppleスペシャルイベントはiPod/iPhone/iTunesとiPadは別々にやって欲しいので、9月上旬に新iPod/iPhone/iTunes発表会、10月下旬に新iPad発表会と予想しているけど、どうなるかな？？

LG Display, Samsung Display and Sharp are expected to be the suppliers of display panels for the 5th-generation iPad, while Taiwan Surface Mounting Technology will undertake SMT for the LED light bars, Radiant Opto-Electronics and Coretronic will be responsible for making the backlight units and TPK Holding for touch panel bonding, the sources said.

【DIGITIMES】Appleの2013年第2四半期のMacBookシリーズの注文が前期比20％増加。6月のWWDC 2013で新モデル発表か？(5/20)

DIGITIMES が、Appleが近い将来にその新しい MacBook 製品をリリースする準備ができており、上流のサプライチェーンの情報によると2013年第2四半期のMacBookシリーズの注文が前期比20％増加すると推定されているようです。

新しいMacBookシリーズは、Intel Haswellプラットフォームにアップグレードが期待され、6月10日開催のWWDC 2013で発表されると予想されるとソースが話しているそうです。

【Abroのひとりごと】MacBook AirとMacBook Proのアップデートと、MacBook Pro with Retina Display のアップデートを期待してるけど、注目はRetinaディスプレイ搭載のMacBook Airが発表されるかが注目だね。

Macアクセサリでは、802.11ac対応のAirMac(AirPort)やTimeCapsuleにも期待。

Abro的には、デスクトップMac（iMac、Mac mini、Mac Pro、Thunderbolt Display）のアップデートは2013年8月以降じゃないかな？と勝手に予想しています。
