Boy Fountain at Hamamatsucho JR Stn 2007.11.09

The platform at the Yamanote Hamamatsucho station going counter-clockwise has a boy fountain that is dressed up monthly. This photo I took yesterday morning when I stepped off the train, ironically the same day that there was big fire nearby. This month, the Boy Fountain is wearing a fire-fighting suit and carries a flag announcing fire prevention.

I saw that fire! I've never seen so many helecoptors over Tokyo at one time before. At first I thought it was some sort of drill because this seems to be the week for fire preparedness or whatever. The fire made me late for work, because I couldn't stop taking pictures of people taking pictures of it. . .
