ABOUT US

BOICE PLANNINGは現代美術作家の共同のスタジオ"アトリエボイス"から名前を引き継いだ非営利の任意団体です。
　現代美術の世界も多様化・細分化して久しく、作家主導のスタジオ兼ギャラリーや郊外型非営利ギャラリーの出現により、情報発信源の地図も大きく変わりつつあります。そんな移ろいやすい状況の中、確固とした質の高い現代美術の在り方を自らの手で作りだし、それを目撃してゆきたいとの意志により集いました。2002年秋から活動を開始し、現在は作家5名と1名のディレクターの計6名で企画展の開催やトークイベントなどを開催しています。

　BOICE PLANNING is a non-profit group whose name had been succeed from the group studio "atlier BOICE", which was a gathering of contemporary artists. It's been a while since the growth of variations and subdivisions of the contemporary art world started. By the appearance of artists-oriented studio-and-galleries, and the non-profit galleries in the suburbs, the map of information dispatch is going through drastic changes. In this ever-changing situations, we got together by the same will: to create a firm, determined and high quality way of contemporary art by our own hands; and observing it with our own eyes. After one year of preparation and arrangements, we are officially starting our activities on the autumn of the year 2002.
