Simplistic Statistic

It's a strange thing, Valentine's day. For one it makes you think that every girl and guy that are walking around together are actually boyfriend and girlfriend. It also makes you wallow in your own self pity. Or maybe that only just happens to me. Valentines day granted the situation could be the most depressing day all year.

I've nothing to say today so I'll just do those fact things that I'm supposed to do. Lizi gave me an 'e' and Francis gave me an 'm'. I'm not going to give anyone else a letter because it's likely it'll just be Francis and Lizi that comment so I'll just do what I do.

Absolute

Travelling around between Chatswood and Manly has made me realise just how much I missed home. Although I know there's nothing really at home, there is always my bed and my Blair and I miss them both very much. I've also realised home isn't a location. That's more of a house. I think it's the people that you go home to that make it all the more homey. Because my parents are overseas I feel like all I return to is a place to stay. I just miss that sense of belonging. Where if you have nowhere else to go, this is it.

I was told this evening something very true. I was told of how people are all excited and happy during school time but suddenly become very-antisocial as soon as the holiday season hits. I often wonder why that is, if it's whether we're just too lazy to go out of our own will or if we really want to see our friends or not. Sometimes it's a matter of money; we never really have enough.

The television show 'Friends' may be the most depressing television show I've ever seen. The reason being that it's extremely rare to find a group of people that you can be so close to it's like family. A group that you always hang with and have fun with. It really is kind of like having a family except the people are your age and you can talk about whatever you like to. But the fact that that will never happen to me makes me oddly sad. I don't watch tv. But I download the shit out of my favourite tv shows.

I'm still stuck on university decisions. I really wonder how things'll turn out for me. I don't want to fuck up in life like Chris so subtly hinted I might do. I hope he isn't right.
