BLAST HIPHOP HISTORY
One of the most memorable lines from the 2004 hit “Slow Jamz.” On this day in Hip-Hop History, Twista along with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx each earned their first #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. “Slow Jamz” pays homage to R&B superstars The Isley Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Minnie Ripperton, Luther Vandross, amongst many others, as well as give Hip-Hop heads a track that is reminiscent of the house parties from back-in-the-day.
