"Hope has two beautiful daughters. Their names are anger and courage; anger at the way things are, and courage to see that they do not remain the way they are. " - St. Augustine of Hippo (13 November 354 – 20 August 430)

I have been to 2 towns on Miyagi coast, where devastated by tsunami for volunteer activities.
They are shocking experience for me, to see destroyed buildings, fisherman's boats, and pieces of normal life found from stinky mad -credit cards, children's book, and stuffing animals...

I've also seen the same sight in US where was hit by tornadoes at news.

It is often heard that he/she got humble feeling that "wow, the power of nature was huge... how we humans are small" while seeing such suffered landscape, but in my case, NEVER had humble feeling like that.

My honest feeling I had in devastated town was anger. So strong, mad one. Is that anger for the nature? No idea what for. Well, this feeling suppose to be crazy, but I still keep it like pilot burner even in peaceful city, Tokyo.

I always think my anger has roots on the fact to realize I can not do anything to solve the problem.
But if this hard-to-manage emotion would be "the beautiful daughter of hope" and could be along with other sister called courage, I might get felt relieved and energized.
