"4th International GLOBBY day" at Grasshut
お馴染みオレゴンのアートマーケット＆ギャラリー"Grasshut"において、
5月17日(金)（現地時間）より"4th International GLOBBY day" が行われます。
Bwanaのオリジナルキャラクター"Globby"を主役にした記念日も今年で4回目。
当日はBwana謹製のアートプリント、ハンドペイントソフビに加えカスタム作品が並びます。
今回もガーガメルより池田圭郁・直哉の2人がカスタム作品でエントリーしております。

SNOWN and CONIFAS
ご無沙汰しております。
筆無精の池田です。
Hello, folks.
Long time no see.
This is Kiyoka Ikeda From Gargamel.
I'm going to have a Custom show at Super 7 San Francisco, May 25th.
今回は今年の福袋に封入した新作”トキシックコニファス”と
NIKEのSHOE SHINE showに参加した際に制作した”スノウン”について
少しお話ししたいと思います。
Here is some new character I'm going to introduce you.
New character "SNOWN" and "TOXIC CONIFAS".

まずはスノウンから。
以前、NIKEからのお誘いでスノーボードブーツのカスタムを塗る事になったのですが、
折角だしブーツ塗るだけじゃつまらないと思い、
スノーボードブーツに住み着く雪山の妖精をイメージしてソフビを制作しました。

He was made for "SHOE SHINE Show by NIKE" which I invited and joined custom of snowboard boots show.
I thought just painting boots were too boring to do, so I created original soft vinyl in the image of the fairy of show who lives in the snowboard boots .
こんな感じでブーツに居座り、持ち主を雪山に誘います(笑)
Stays like this and invites the owner to the snow mountain.
スノウンはボクが一アーティストとして誘われたショーに向けて制作したので、
ボクが美しいと思うグラデーションが見せられるデザインを意識しました。
トキシックコニファスも同様にソフビに映えるグラデーション塗装を見せれるソフビとして制作しました。
スノウンとは対照的に、不満そうな表情にしました。
SNOWN was made for the show which I invaded as one artist.
I designed it my beauty of shapes and gradation colors.
TOXIC CONIFAS is also showing a gradation paint to shine in soft vinyl.
In contrast with SNOWN, his face is unsatisfied look.
福袋に封入したスペシャル塗装版
Special painted ver. for Lucky bag.
今のところ、塗装に時間がかかるため
量産品としての販売は未定です。
また福袋とかには入れるかも知れませんが。
For now, It will take too long for the paint, I'm not sure to produce mass production.
It may put in the Lucky bag sometimes.
スノウンのほうは、口がNIKEのスウッシュになっているので
ライセンス的に通常販売出来兼ねます。
しかし今回、NIKEからの許諾を頂き、5/25のSuper7 store(San Francisco)で
カスタムフィギュアの販売を致します。
SNOWN's mouth is like NIKE Swoosh logo, so I can not sell like a regular items.
But this time, I received a license from the NIKE.
I'm going to sell custom figures include SNOWN at Super 7 store San Francisco, May 25th.
一応、国内でもスノウンのカスタムショーは企画中ですが、
まだ可否詳細含め未定です。
なのでこの立体物は、今回を逃すとなかなか手に入れる機会は無いと思います。
その他、スタンダードサイズをメインにカスタムフィギュアを現在鋭意製作中です。
ご期待下さい！
I'm thinking about to have SNOWN's custom show in Japan; however, I'm not sure I can do it or not.
Therefore, there is no opportunity to get hard if you miss this time.
Also, I'm making other custom figures which are standard size mainly right now.
