Westin Tokyo 1

I had a one night award with SPG which expires this month.  So it was somehow natural to choose to stay this property near my place.
My booking was pre-upgraded indicated its website from the deluxe room to an executive deluxe.

SPGの宿泊特典権利が今月で失効してしまうわけだったので、一番家から近いここに一泊泊ることに急遽決定。

SPGのwebsiteからはもうすでに予約のカテゴリーが最低のカテゴリーからエグゼクティブフロアーの客室にアップグレードされていたので、ちょっと安心をしてチェックインとなりました。



The Westin Tokyo is extremely well maintained after its 15 years of operation as a top tier hotel in Tokyo. 
I did actually stay on the opening day back in 15years ago where my room ceiling had water leaing from the floor above.  Hmmm.  It`s a long time ago.

The lobby area is beautifully decorated with Christmas flavor. 

開業から15年を経過しても今だ尚東京のトップホテルとしての格、行き届いたホテルのメンテナンス、さすがです。

とはいえ、実は開業初日に泊ったのはもう15年も前ですが、その時に自分の客室の天井が上階の部屋の水漏れかなにかで、水漏れを起こしていたのは、もう時効でしょうね。

ロビーばクリスマスの雰囲気一杯です。



Christmas tree sits right in the middle of the entrance area.  Nice work.

本当ならロビーのど真ん中にどんと構える物体は邪魔な感じもするのですが、このツリーは観ためも豪華で、写真スポットになっていて、温かい感じでお客様をお迎えする雰囲気もあり、よくできていました。



Assigned guest room was on the executive floor with all the benefits as usual.

The room comes with a heavenly bed.

用意いただいた特典での客室はエグゼフロアーのダブルの部屋。
通常の特典も付けていただいているので、ゆったり過ごすことができそうです。
