HybridFighter Hot Intervew of Shunichi Shimizu!!!
Shunichi Shimizu will be fighting at Pancrase today.
His opponent, Yuki Baba, is well-known as a physical fighter and looked like very good condition at the today’s Pancrase weigh-in. However, Shimizu said that he will have a plan to defeat him up. We will see….
Here is his interview as followings;
Q: How is your condition now?
Shimizu: Since I could have better training, I never lost my concentration.
Q: Your opponent, Yuki Baba, is physically very good like USA fightera. What kind of impression do you have for him?
Shimizu: I think that he is the top 1 or 2 at Bantam weight class in Pancrase as a physical fighter. My impression about him is that he always finished with all strong fighters with his phisical body.
Q: Always, you have different movement about your fight style. Do you have any change in you at this time?
Shimizu: I went Thailand last month. Since I learned that Muay Thai and MMA technique and also learned Mai Pen Rai spirit (No problem spirit), I could have some more space in my mind. I am looking forward to how much I can use those skills I got in Thailand at no-mercy Pancrase ring.
Q: Now a days, Takumi, Oishi, Takahashi and some more Pancrase fighters are going to fight at overseas. You are also interested in fighting at overseas. Do you have any idea where do you want to fight?
Shimizu: I think I would like to fight at any fighting organization that evaluates and likes my fight style and gives me high expectation from them. But now, I just concentrate my tomorrow's opponent Yuki Baba in my head.

清水俊一はかく語りき： 今日のパンクラス ディファ有明
半年ぶりにパンクラスの舞台に舞い戻って来た清水俊一選手に緊急インタビューをしました！
Q: 現在の体調は如何ですか？
清水：試合まで気を抜くつもりはありませんが、今はいつも通りに良い練習が出来ています。
Q: 今回の対戦相手はよくフィジカルでは外国人並みに強いと言われている馬場勇気選手ですがどんな印象を持っていますか？
清水：フィジカルだけならパンクラス・バンタム級の中で１、２を争うファイターと考えております。そのフィジカルで強豪選手をねじ伏せてしっかり最後は勝つ素晴らしいファイターの印象が強いですね。
Q: いつも試合毎に違った展開を遂げている清水選手ですが、今回は自分の中で前と違った事があれば教えて下さい。
清水：先月に知人のファイターのタイはプーケット、バンコクの練習に帯同させてもらいました。そこでムエタイテクニック、MMAテクニック、そしてマイペンライの精神を学び、少しだけ心にゆとりが生まれました。
その技術と精神を“あの”優しさのいらないパンクラスのリングでどこまで出せるのかが、楽しみでなりません。
Q: いま、パンクラスではタクミ選手、大石選手、高橋番長選手等多くの選手が海外に進出していますが、清水選手も海外での試合を希望していると聞いていますが、どんな大会に参戦してみたいとかありますか？
清水：自分の試合の仕方を好いてくれて評価してくれ、期待されて戦える大会であればどこでも闘いたいと思っています。でも今はパンクラスの馬場戦しか頭にありません一試合一試合を地道に闘い抜くだけです。
