Mid to Senior Level Construction/Project Lawyer (Banking/Projects Department of Beijing Office) A-047

The Beijing office of a leading UK law firm is looking for a mid to senior level construction/project lawyer with the experience and skills set out below.
- Candidates must possess 3-4 years (mid) 4 - 7 years (senior) PQE
- Training at a top international law firm
- A recognised qualification (e.g. Australian, US, UK, PRC bar) an advantage
- Native English speaker, preferably with Chinese skills, or native Chinese speaker with excellent English skills, and ability to negotiate and document deals in Chinese
- China construction experience preferred
- Renewables experience an advantage
- Superior client relationship management skills
- Ability to run transactions and teams with a minimum of supervision
The successful applicant will be advising international project sponsors and financiers, as well as Chinese / Japanese construction and engineering groups on construction and commercial contracts across a wide range of industries (incl. energy, mining / resources, petrochemicals etc.).
