Albondigas
Albondigas
serve 6-8
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove of garlic, crushed
4 tbls olive oil
450g minced meat (such as pork or beef or lamb)
2 eggs, beaten
4 tbls fresh breadcrumbs
1 tbls freshly chopped parsley
1 tsp chopped thyme
salt and ground black pepper
flour, for coating
FOR the sauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
100g mushrooms, sliced
1 red pepper, diced
25g flour
150ml dry white wine
600ml beef or chicken stock
400g chopped tinned tomatoes
1. Lightly fry the onion and garlic in 1 tbls of the oil
until just soft.
In a bowl mix the minced meat, eggs, breadcrumbs,
parsley, thyme and seasoning.
Add the onion mixture and stir until thoroughly mixed.
2. Using your finger, shape the mixture into walnut –size
balls.
Coat each ball in flour.
3. Heat the remaining oil in a frying-pan and fry the meatballs,
tossing them to seal evenly.
Remove with a slotted spoon onto a plate.
4. To make the sauce, add onion, mushrooms and red pepper
to the pan and lightly fry for 2 minutes.
Mix the flour in thoroughly.
Over a gentle heat gradually add the wine, stirring well.
Add the stock tomatoes and seasoning.
Mix and bring to the boil.
Lower the heat, add the meatballs and simmer for 45
minutes until the sauce has thickened.

先月末東京に引っ越しまして、やっと落ち着きまして、しばらくぶりにおじゃまします。
おいしそうですね！
今まで住んでいたところは、習い事なんてなかったので、東京にいる間、お料理も英語も勉強できたらいいです。
いろいろ探していたら、英語で料理を教えてくれるっていうのありました。何本か電車乗り継がなきゃいけなくて、子ども小さいし．．．。と（涙）
miewmiewさんもそういうのしたらいいのにー！！
なんて思ってしまいました。
何年かしたら北海道に戻るので、いつかmiewmiew さんに英語でお料理教えてもらいたいです！！
