It's strange trying to work here.
Especially so because I don't have net access where I am working, so I have to make my way over to a net cafe which is where I am at the moment. If anyone knows of a good and FREE Wi-Fi spot in Tokyo, let me know.
I keep getting work from Italy lately. I thought I was done, but then it was well received, so they asked me to do more. I guess I ought to be grateful for the opportunity. It's just that I can't seem to get into working mode just yet. there is much else to distract me.

Hello peoples,
mumbles here. I don't know if this blog is English friendly or not. I chose Livedoor(the blog service) because it seemed relatively easy enough for English readers to get around. Maybe it's better if I write the English text at the top? Please comment if you care.
For the time being, I'm just going to write whatever even if I don't have anything particularly interesting to say just so that I get in the habit of doing this.
I am leaving for Tokyo tomorrow and so today I have a lot to do starting with a massive pile of dirty clothes that needs washing. I've dreaded doing it, but I also don't welcome the idea of flying across the ocean with a bag full of dirty clothes, so I will JUST DO IT!

Hello, thanks for coming to my blog. my very first one, in fact.
I'd been meaning to do it for sometime, but it took me until now.
I made a list of things to do before I left for Tokyo (I leave in day after tomorrow) and have been going through it and this was one of them.
It's been sometime since I made a diary entry on my site (http://www.mumbleboy.com)
and so I've felt that I've lost touch with people who used to frequent my site to read the diary. Anyway, I thought that if I were to do a blog it would be a bilingual one in Japanese English since I have many friends who are fluent in one, but not the other.
I don't think I'll be writing the exact same things. Well, already it's proving to be very different, but for the most part I'm writing about similar things. I guess it's my nature to not want to do the same thing twice.
Although I'd had a site since '96 which I think is pretty early on, I hadn't done a blog. I'd done a pseudo one, but that was done in html, so in fact I'm a newcomer. If any of you want to give me advice about how to improve it, you're welcome. Although I'm not really looking to spend hours trying to do some elaborate programming.
mumble out.
