地元の住宅メーカーと一緒に、デザイン性と性能のバランスが良い住宅をリーズナブルな価格で提供するというプロジェクト。
その第一弾となるモデルハウスを設計させていただきました。実際にお住まいになる子育て世代の若いご夫婦のために、設計した住宅です。
住宅の部材や素材に、大量生産されている製品を使い価格を抑えるのが、このプロジェクトのコンセプトなので、産業化時代の現代民家と言われる「インダストリアルヴァナキュラー」の姿を探りました。
周囲の住宅と部材や素材の共通性でつながっていくというねらいで、外壁はこの地域に多い、杉の下見板張りを採用しています。
このプロジェクトで、私たちに求められるのは、敷地の多様性に合わせた、型にはまらないプラン提案だと言えます。
敷地の多様性がもたらす、住宅設計の一回性をテコにして、住宅エキスパートの仕事を少し外部からズラしていきたいと思います。
We are working with a local housing builder
on a project to provide housing with a good balance of design and performance
at a reasonable price.
The first model house has been completed.
This is a house designed for young couples who are raising children.
The concept of this project is to use
mass-produced products for housing components and materials to keep costs down.
So, I explored the appearance of "industrial vernacular", which is
said to be a modern private house in the industrial age.
With the aim of connecting with the
surrounding houses through the commonality of materials, we used cedar
clapboards, which are common in this area, for the outer walls.
It can be said that what is required of us
in this project is a free plan proposal that matches the diversity of the site.
I would like to take advantage of the
one-time nature of housing design brought about by the diversity of the site,
and shift the work of the housing expert a little.
