My new year opens with the Grand Prize for animation, Japan Media Art Festival for
my distributing animated film “Approved for Adoption/Couleur de peau: Miel”.

SEA concept development master class starts up after a fantastic preparation on cooperatoin between South America, Europa and Asia/Japan.
Talented and up-and-coming 5 Japanese creators shall develop brand-new
animation-based concepts for the global market \with other 5 participants
from South America and Europe.

Animation series Mirou-Mirou, born by a Japanese artist
Haruna Kishi, may enter upon a new phase in collaborative
development with Japanese partners…
Please anticipate a Kawaii-hero sea otter!

I would like to encourage Japanese producers to participate in Asia-EU Cartoon Connection
with highly-motivated and catching projects/concepts based on our Japanese creative forte.

Confucius saying "I understood my duty of life at 50”, I suppose to follow this way.
One day my small efforts shall come to fruits of touching and beautiful animation, I hope.

I would greatly appreciate you could be with me to create a new animation world
between Japan and you.

賀正2014年

新年あけまして　おめでとうございます

2014年、オフィスＨとトリウッド配給のドキュメンタリー・アニメーション映画『はちみつ色のユン』の文化庁メディア芸術祭アニメーション部門大賞受賞で始まります。

2月にデンマークで、SEAコンセプト開発マスタークラスをおこないます。南米・ヨーロッパ・アジア／日本から、精鋭アーティスト15名が集い、グローバル市場に向けて、アニメーションベースのコンセプトを創り出すことでしょう。
このSEAで、昨年はサンパウロのAnima Mundiフェスティバルに参加しました。
わたしも、ブラジルとのネットワークを広げられそうです。

7月に韓国で開催される、アジアとヨーロッパのCartoon Connectionに、2013年よりも多くの日本のプロデューサーが参加してくれるよう願っています。

ラッコの男の子、ミルのちっちゃな冒険談「Miru-Miru（みるみる）」がアニメーションになりつつあります。
日本人アーティスト　貴志春菜さんが発案して、フランスのスタジオFolimageと共同で開発中です。ヨーロッパのプロジェクトピッチCartoon Forumでも注目を集めました。
日本との協働も叶うかな。ミルの夢が広がります・・・

１２年前、壮大な実験｢ユーロ｣がスタートしました。ヨーロッパを再び戦場にしないという決意で、経済と政治の共通基盤へ向かい、３億２０００万を超す人々が統一通貨を使っています（ラトビアが加入し、18ヵ国となりました）。歴史を真摯に受け止めたヨーロッパ人の連帯は崩そうとしても、崩れないでしょう。

わたしはヨーロッパを見続けてきました。彼の地や日本のみなさまと共に準備してきたことが、少しずつ動き始めています。支え合う力を感じています。

マイブームの韓流をきっかけに、儒学に興味が湧きました。
孔子は５０歳で、長い間待っていた出番が来たことを天命と表し、活き活きと、積極的な姿勢で取り組んだそうです。
わたしも、そうありたいものです。

2014年、みなさまにも待ちに待ったときが現れますよう、心からお祈りしております。
