In 2015, terrors and “security guarantees” are drastically presented.
New year, I wish people’s hardened heart would be relaxed by our
animated films.
In March we welcome beautiful animations from around the world to
Tokyo Anime Award Festival (TAAF2016). As International Coordinator,
I’d like to invite you to entry to the competitions.
It is still possible to submit feature-length animated films. The deadline is January 31.
TAAF, a three-year-old international festival favored by spacious
animation/Anime community in Japan, is initiated on the successful base of the Tokyo Anime Award (from 2002 till 2013).
Looking forward to seeing you at TAAF2016, March 18 to 21, 2016 in a
capital of animation art and business, Tokyo.
SEA Concept Development Lab shall back in. The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark and Office H in Japan work closely to support new
animation-based concepts to be born from a cross-border and
multicultural camp.
A SEA 2014’s TV series concept ‘Bubblebit & Miau’ is on the road to
the market.
I expect creative and daring artists to challenge the exciting SEA from
Japan and Europe.
My first trip in Barcelona was splendid!
Cross-media contents pitching event, Cartoon 360 in the world cultural city, Barcelona was exciting too.
Asian producers could pitch their projects at Cartoon Forum via Asia-EU Cartoon Connection, then I'm motivated to send can-do producers from Japan with their ambitious projects.

The Japanese animation/Anime celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2017!
In the next 100 years, the Japanese animation/Anime society is going to provide the window for non-Japanese animation widely, even though our marketplace has been rather self-enclosed in the past, I hope.
Furthermore we should like to contribute the art of animation and
the growth of cultural industry in collaborating with our comrades around the world.
I sincerely desire that our creative people and you would get closer.
With wholeheartedness and intimacy, I’d like to work with you much more for creative and fantastic works.
