クラウンキャンプ(1997年）で初めてのオープンマイクに出演した私たちのスキットは、3個ボールのコメディジャグリングだった。

私は緊張しすぎて、ボールを持っている手が冷え切っていたのを今でも覚えてる。
あなたは、そのスキットを見た後、すぐにリチャードに連絡し、私たちをインストラクターに推薦してくれたんだってね。

Dear My friend , Lee "Juggles"

Our routine at our first open mic at Clown Camp was a comedy juggling of three balls.

I can still remember how nervous I was and how cold my hands were when I was holding the balls.

After seeing our skit, you immediately contacted Richard and recommended us as instructors.

(It was only our second Clown Camp.)

Since then, every year we met, our friendship deepened and we felt a strong bond.

We were fascinated by your wisdom, humility and sense of humor.

(Especially RONE's facial expressions, which were just like yours, made everyone laugh.)

You left this earth at the same time as we had our first day of Clown Camp Japan 2025.

(So we had no time to mourn.)

RONE and Gigi were surrounded by friends who continued to learn clowning, just like you and Richard.

The most precious thing we learned from you is camaraderie.

It is consistent with the clown spirit that easily jumps over the barriers of nationality, gender, age and experience.

You prepared a card at the end of Clown Camp every year.

I was overwhelmed with joy by the words of gratitude written all over the card.

Because there were cards for all 10 instructors!

The memories with you, Richard, and the members of Clown Camp are treasures for RONE and Gigi that shine more beautifully than any medal.
