残念なお知らせなりますが、今年の全仏オープンを欠場することを決めました。全体的に身体は着実に良くなっているのですが、まだ100%ではなく、十分に準備できてないままで、このイベントに出場するにはリクスがあると感じています。
この決定をするのは簡単ではないですが、残りのシーズンと残りのキャリアを優先する。私は今までどおり、モチベーションがあり、エキサイトしている。私の計画は、ATPツアーの芝のシーズン前に最高レベルのフィットネスにすることです。パリのファンには申し訳ないが、2017年のローランギャロスで会える事を楽しみにしています。

I regret to announce that I have made the decision not to play in this year’s French Open. I have been making steady progress with my overall fitness, but I am still not 100% and feel I might be taking an unnecessary risk by playing
in this event before I am really ready. This decision was not easy to make, but I took it to ensure I could play the remainder of the season and help to extend the rest of my career. I remain as motivated and excited as ever and my plan is to achieve
the highest level of fitness before returning to the ATP World Tour for the upcoming grass court season. I am sorry for my fans in Paris but I very much look forward to returning to Roland Garros in 2017.

65大会連続グランドスラム出場でストップとなりました。
クレーは肉体、精神的にもハードですし、5セットは厳しいと判断したのだと思います。
すべてはこれからの芝シーズンに備えるためだと信じて、華麗なプレーが見れるのを待ちたいと思います。
