' Congratulation upon marriage ' by TM Yamanaka
He ' roasted' TM Kayo on the occasion of her marriage to our president Niino. As TM Watanabe evaluated, this requires a delicate skill. If you overdo , you spoil by burning it to blackness. But he succeeded in giving a nice brown color to make her to look more delicious.
' No pain, no gain' by TM Bounheng
He is from Laos where there is no snow, hence he has never skied in his entire life. When he was invited to ski by his school mates, he hesitated. And as he had expected it was a lot of pain to learn how to ski. But as he struggled through the experience、he realized that he was getting better and better day by day.
' A proposal to establish Date Masamune foundation' by TM Tokunaga
He talked about the declining downtowns in many local cities represented by the so called ' Shutter streets'
But the local peoples' initiative can change this sorry situation. let's start with a small step and move forward.
Congratulations!

#9' In the pink ' TM Ginger
She talked about how people in Samoa where she used to live avoided the subject of ' cancer ' as a taboo with the result of many Samoans discovering it too late. She, herself a survivor of breast cancer, advocated periodic medical checkup to the ladies of our club.
November 4th (Wed)
#2' Human and nature ' TM Yusa
He talked about the famous zoologist by the name of ......... who studied chimpanzees. He grabbed the attention of the audience by mimicking the howling sound of chimps and he ended his speech by another pitch of howling( different chimp language according to him ). He seems to have practiced this howling a lot.
Congratulations!!

TM Sofien #1
'Grandpa is not so big in Japan.'
He is British, but on his fathers side, he is half Arabic that makes him such an intriguing new member for us.
As TM Mako mentioned in her evaluation, he introduced himself nicely without going too deep into each one of the many aspects of himself which would become interesting future speech topics in themselves.
He studies psychology, he plays soccer in a team based in Rifu, he is big hearted enough to make fun of himself,
' Granpa(he is called by his friends as Sofu) is not so big in Japan. '

TM Chikako #7
' Another way to watch ' by TM Chikako
She has seen more than one hundred foreign made movies in which Japanese are featured. She has noticed some patterns. Key words are, samurai, geisha, yakuza and sumo. They are ridiculously funny but she was afraid that some foreigners' image of Japanese could be something like that. She has also noticed that in the genre of 'Pop culture', there are new types of young Japanese which may surprise even us.
Her conclusion was, ' Beware of having mistaken stereotypical images of anybody, go out and see with your own eyes.'
Congratulations!
