經過了在東京、倫敦、蘇格蘭的酒吧、餐廳、釀造所、蒸餾所的修行之後,偶然地愛上了台北這個不夜城,「WA-SHU」日式酒吧就這樣誕生了。 「WA-SHU」背負著傳達日本酒文化的使命,本店是宣傳、教育型的飲食店,集結了各式各樣日本本地生產的酒類。

WA-SHU is looking for dedicated, ambitious and hardworking bar staff whom are looking to make the most of one of the most exciting new cocktail scenes in the World. As one of the most well respected bars in Taipei, WA-SHU has a history of collaboration with all the top bars in the city and is at the centre of the bar community. As WA-SHU looks to constantly grow and evolve, we are looking for bartenders looking to expand their horizons and immerse themselves in one of the most unique bars in Taipei. 


The successful candidate would be well trained in the philosophy of WA-SHU but also be allowed to express their creativity within the WA-SHU concept. Key attributes include being a fast learner, a hard worker and being able to engage with customers, anticipating their needs. Spoken mandarin is not essential but preferred.

Being based in Taipei also allows the candidate to easily explore nearby countries such as Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand. The opportunities for exploring Asia are endless!

Job Overview
Concept---
WA-SHU is a bar that focuses on creativity, flavour combinations, the search for new flavours and presentations; a new perspective by the customer of what a bar is. WA-SHU is a place you go to for experiences, not just drinks. While many bars serve complicated cocktails with multiple ingredients, to the point that the customer doesn’t know what they are drinking anymore, WA-SHU aims to provide customers with new flavours in a much simpler, purer way, extracting flavour without over complication.

Philosophy---
The philosophy of WA-SHU is to challenge people’s preconceptions and ideas about what a bar should be. The purpose of coming to WA-SHU is not to get drunk but to enjoy a unique drinking experience. Bar culture is changing all around the world and part of that is that the customer is changing as well; they are starting to see bars and drinks as more than just alcohol and appreciating them with all 5 senses. WA-SHU aims to be a leader in this change and further revolutionising the bar industry. The key idea behind this is for customers to taste what they’ve never tasted before.

Role Description---
To support the seamless running of the bar, by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and customer needs are anticipated and met. This role will be reporting to the head Bartender or duty manager.

• To develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu and beverage list offerings

當天會為各位帶來三間不同的蘇格蘭威士忌蒸餾場,所製作的極為稀有並且非常歷史悠久的單一麥芽威士忌.
更會有30隻以上極罕見未開過威士忌來自日本或是蘇格蘭,供各位選擇.
活動日期:四月30號 星期日
威士忌講師: 姚和成(Kingfisher),業餘威士忌玩家,獲頒蘇格蘭業界最高榮耀Keeper of the Quaich。個人威士忌品飲紀錄超過四千五百種.
當天為大型威士忌活動品鑑會,所以當天只提供威士忌供各位品飲,並只開放預約先付款之訂位客人,未訂位之客人因為活動緣故所以不開放.
當天所有我們所提供都威士忌當將會是20毫升一杯

Nick Wu/ 吳盈憲
Currently the Consultant for East End Bar.
Mainly responsible for designing the Cocktail Menu, Staff Training and Site Operations. Also makes drinks for guests at East End Bar two days a week. The Cocktail Menu includes Classics, Twist on Classics, and various Original Drinks incorporating unique elements in order to provide guests with a wider range of options. Have assisted  many liquor brands by providing cocktail-making workshops and training.
A very avid enthusiast of promoting cocktails.

目前擔任East End Bar 的顧問,主要負責酒單的設計、教育訓練與現場營運,每個禮拜也都會有2天在East End bar 製作調酒給顧客,酒單的部分包含了經典調酒、經典調酒Twist與各種特殊元素融合的自創酒,提供顧客更廣泛的選擇。
協助過許多酒商製作調酒訓練課程與教學,非常熱衷於調酒的推廣
