Epilogue
エピローグ
写真も映画も自由に撮り続けて来たけど、30年あっという間だなー。
世界中の歴史的事件の裏にいたり前にいたり、すぐ横にいたり、近かったり、遠かったり・・・。
そして有名無名問わず様々な人に出会ったり、結局は自分自身がそこにいて、そこで感じた事だけが、「写真」を通して脳裏に焼き付き、更に次の「生」への自分を司っていくのがわかったような？わかってないような毎日・・・。
写真そのもので「死」を表現した、尊敬するスタンリー・J・フォーマン氏とは全く逆に、今回並べたプリントで、「生」への希望が、少しでも伝われば幸いかなぁ？
と思う次第である。そして、これはあくまでも、100年間のフォト・ジャーナリズムの歴史の中の30年では到底なく（笑）、”いろいろな人々の人生の旅を絶えることなく記し続けていく”という200年もの歴史を持つ伝説のモレスキンなのだから・・・。
私的な30年間の断片にお付き合いいただいた方、本当にありがとう！

I have been taking photos and films pretty freely but,
it's surprising how quick thirty years have passed.
I was either behind, in front of, just beside, close, or far from historic events
around the world... Then met people from all walks of life,
some famous and some not. In the end, I was there, and the things
I felt were stuck on to my brain through "photograph",
which lead me to the next stage of my life.
However, I am not sure...
I would be grateful if the hope for "life" would be conveyed even slightly by those prints on display. This is completely the opposite of respectable Mr.Stanly J.Forman, who expressed "Death" by the photo
journalism, but my notes I took everyday.
This is the legendary moleskine with 200 years of history,
which notes the various journeys of life eternally.
I sincerely would like to thank those who contributed their fragments that built my thirty years of private photography!

Influenza was overpowering.
Ground Zero, N.Y. After four years of terror attack, the new Trade Center had just begun its work.

一方セントラル・パークでは、N.Y.市と26年の交渉を経て、アーティスト、クリスト＆ジャン・クロードの作品「The Gate」開催、7,500本にゲートからサフラン色の布が、今、下ろされた！
Meanwhile, in N.Y., "The Gate" by an artist Christo & Jeanne-Claude was exhibited in Central park after going through 26years of the negotiation with N.Y.city. Cloth colored in saffron now pulled off from all 7,500 gates!

Hong Kong returned to China.
I shot a documentary film "Fay ce que Voudras"
which revealed the golden-gai in Shinjuku
with Brice Pedroletti, a journalist
from a French paper Le Monde.
