Recommend Accommodation in OSAKA & KYOTO
■OSAKA
*Chuo Group
*Hotel Toyo
Actually, there are many cheap hostels only for locals I mean without English web page near Chuo Group area besides JR Shin-Imamiya station in OSAKA. If you can't book any hostel in OSAKA, it's not big problem.
■KYOTO
*Kyoto hostel
*Gion A-yado
*Khaosan hostel
*K's house
*J-hoppers
*Kyotokko
*Utano youth hostel
As you know, KYOTO is very busy touristic city. So, I strongly recommend to book hostel in KYOTO in advance.
■Train schedule & Fee
*Hyperdia
■Highway Bus

Wish Club Aim!!!
Our Canadian friend Matt who joined our activity 2010
sent me an e-mail about questions of our activity for his weblog.
And when I wrote the answers, I thought I should leave behind the answers for people who want to understand WishClub aim.
*Here is the Q&A list.
> What inspired you to start the "Wish Club"?
I has been dreaming to organize international social gatherings since I was a kid.
Maybe I was born to do Wish Club activity.
> What do you love about couchsurfing?
Couchsurfing / Hospitality club gave me a opportunity to meet various country travelers.
And travelers is perfect people for Wish Club activity.
Because They have big motivations for seeing japanese
locals and japanese cultures. And they also have difficulities for language and normal life in Japan.
Because they always need help. And if we can help them, it would be very helpful for them. I think it's easy to make friendly and trustable human relationships each other.
> When did you get started with couchsurfing and what made you want to take it further and eventually buy a
bus?
Actually, I already had a plan to buy before getting know CS. Just CS helped me a bus earlier than I imagine.
> Is the "Wish club" how you make a living?
About money, it isn't enough for living. But I can survive with only WishClub activities right now. Because of my savings of previous buisiness and my father left small house for my family when he died.
So I don't need to work so hard like everyone.
> I remember being in your living room looking at thousands of pictures and gifts that travellers have given you. How many people do you think you have hosted in Japan?
I'm not sure the number.....maybe 600 to 700 or more.
I don't care about the number of the people who I host.
Quality is more important than quantity.
I just want to make a good people network all over the world. That's why I don't count the nember of people.
It's the most important thing is how many good vibe people I could meet.
Total amount of hosting is no meaning for me.
> what's one really amazing experience you remember
while hosting others?
I'm very happy when I meet person who visited us again or people who were recommended to join us by someone who joined us before.
> How many of those same people have hosted you when you visit their home countries?
Here is the list of people who helped and host me when I had trips to abroad till 2009.
http://www.wish-club.com/english/01/ammbassador.htm
In 2010, more than 30 people helped and hosted me when i had a trip.
> what's one huge memorable experience you had while being hosted?
My Taiwan friend suggested me to travel Taiwan, and she planed special trip like down below weblink.
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=173720&id=748050873&l=acb7e76ce4
I could bring French woman & Israel guy at the moment.
And my Taiwanese friend brought her American husband. So, we could organize small WishClub Taiwan trip then.
Because my dream, plan aim of WishClub is doing Highlight trips like in Japan all over the world. The trip was a kind of first Wishclub trip outside of Japan.
And when I had SE Asia trip this January, I could traveled with Italian friend, and we could meet with Spanish friend in Vietnam, Swiss friend in Cambodia and Turkey&Taiwan friends in Thailand.
My project is becoming true.
> Any inspiring quotes or stories you'd like to share that have inspired you?
I am thinking to rent a house for Wish Club activities in
SiemReap Cambodia from coming November.
And I will stay there until March at least (hopefully every Nov to March) and have SE Asia trips regularly.
Because I like the weather and people in the area.
I hope this project will be going well.
That's all.
*Please let me know if I answered wrong way.
Because my English is pretty bad!
And if you have any other questions, please feel free to
send me e-mails.
cheers
