再び郡上踊り！（visit Gujo-Odori again）

友達の来訪で、再び郡上へ。
Visit Gujo again when friend came to us. 



まずは腹ごしらえ。適当に入った小料理屋さん、大当たり～！
けいちゃん、今まで食べた中で一番美味い。
First of all, let's have a dinner with local dish, 'Keichan'. (chicken frying)
Choose properly, but that's bingo!  Most delicious Keichan, we hit.


そして踊り。Then dancing.


知らない間に人・人・人。どこからともなく集まって踊りの輪が広がるのは楽しい。
けど、自分が踊るための踊りだから本当は参加しなくてはいけない・・・
Before someones notices, gathering many people from nowhere.
So interesting festival. Everyone comes of their own accord!
But basically we also have to dance because this is the festival that enjoy dancing. 


さすがに若い。もう踊ってました。（笑）
次回は浴衣で是非踊ってね～。
Such a young girl! She starts dancing so soon.
Let's dance wearing Yukata next time. 


踊らなくても楽しそうなので、私には、見ても十分楽しめる祭りです。
For me this is enough enjoyable dancing festival, even I myself don't dance.  

岐阜の観光地～美濃（sightseeing area in Gifu, Mino-city）

友達が遊びに来ました。
しかし、大人の女性をどこに連れていくか、一番の悩みどころ。
Friend visits us in Gifu.
But it's big problem for us where we'll take friends to. 

みんな、高山や白川郷は行ったことのある人が多い。
Usually many people have visited Takayama, Shirakawa-Go already.

しかし、関東圏の人はほとんど岐阜を知りません。
関西圏の人は多少知ってはいるけど、高山以外来たことがなかったり。
And almost from Tokyo-area doesn't know about Gifu, even sometimes
they don't know where it is.
People from Osaka-area usually know a bit about Gifu, but never visit except Takayama. 

清流、鮎、街並みと、基本的に見どころがかぶるから、正直私でも飽きる～（苦笑）
なので、何か面白いところを探さなくちゃ、と日々奮闘・・・
自分もよく知らないので、現地調査も兼ね、遊びに行きました。
Everywhere has the same hot spot, fresh stream, sweetfish, and streetscape.
That's why I'm also getting bored...
So I'm always looking for the place somewhere interesting in Gifu.  
I'm not good at these area, so visit somewhere as a field investigation.

30日は花火大会。金華山周辺は駐車場がなく市内観光を断念。
そして思い立って、美濃に。
In 30 July it was held a big firework in the center. We can't find car parking space, 
so drop a plan to do sightseeings in the city of Gifu. Then think about going Mino-city,
where is declared a World Herritage site of thier Japanese paper. 

自宅から車で40分くらい。結構近い～。
とりあえず和紙の里会館へ。紙すき体験（500円）は待ちだったので断念。
It takes 40 minutes by car from my house. Closer than I expected.
Firstly visit Mino paper village. Wanted to try to do, but it was on a waiting list.
So will do next time.

 

そして、会館からは少し離れてますが、うだつの上がる街並みを散策。
混んでいる高山の古い町並みより、のんびりできる美濃の街並みの方が
街並みは堪能出来て楽しいかも。
Then go to the old town of Mino and take a walk around.
This town is famous for Udatsu, originally a firewall built at both of the end of a roof.
If you're interested in old architecture, maybe enjoy walking here than in Takayama.
Because in Takayama  there are so many people!
We had a relaxing time.







旧今井家住宅。The Former Imai residence.

建物が好きな人にはよだれもん。
すっかり夢中で写真撮るのも忘れてた・・・
It makes a person who love Japanese architecture so happy!
I forget to take pictures because go crazy over the residence.



町中にある職人さんの工房。
Craft center in old town.

ご主人の作る和紙で、奥さまが提灯や照明を作っていらっしゃるそうです。
ゲストハウスに使うシェードが欲しい！と思いましたが、完成し部屋が決まらない
ことには選べないなぁ。。。（笑）
Husband makes papers and wife makes lanterns and lamps.
I'm looking for lampshades in guesthouse, but it's only after all finish
remodeling...

 


美濃はなかなか良かった。
街並みも堪能出来、紙漉きも出来る。
（いつもなら体験には全く興味がないが、紙漉き体験ならやってみたい～）
食べ物屋さんも色々あり、小洒落れたカフェもあるので、1日楽しめます。
Mino-city is pretty good for sightseeing.
You'll enjoy streetscape, and can try to papermaking.
(Usually I'm not interested in any workshops, but only want to do a papermaking for me.)
There are enough restaurants and stylish cafes. So enjoyable visit. 

 

梅雨明け（the rainy season is over）

なんていい天気！
What's a sunny day!

 
気持ちの良い通勤路です。
Welcome weather on my commuting line.

充実してゆく自己満空間（my space is enriched by the addition of favorite items ）

時々お世話になっているemofさん。
雑念を取り払いたくで、テラリウムのクラフトレッスンに参加。
物を作るということは、気持ちいいくらい集中！それが幸せ～
Sometimes take part in emof's workshop in Nagoya.
This time got in workshop of terrarium, to eliminate distraction. 
When make someting by hand, concentrate exclusively on making.
That's so happy moment. 


めでたく、和ダンスの飾りとなりました。
またまた充実してゆく自己満足空間（笑）
Make a welcom ornament for my Japanese-style chest.
Self-pleased space is getting enriched more and more.


 

軽トラで海♪（Go to the beach by light truck)

疲れると軽トラで遊びたがる旦那さん。
今回は下道で海へ行きました。
When husband gets tired, wants to go somewhere by light truck.
This time we went to the sea by local road.


毎年同じ無人島しか行きませんが、岐阜からだと福井は近い！（と思う）
ルートはこんな感じで、なかなか良いコースです。（山道だから飽きない）（笑）
Every summer go to the same beach of uninhabited island in Fukui.
From Gifu so close there. (we think so.)
Route as below. Good route, because it's mountain path and I'm not bored.

 

板だけは潤沢なので、お手製の荷台ボックス。（笑）
We only have enough wood boards, so make a box for loading platform. 





途中、こんな林道に入ります。
On the way, go through such a mountain path.


信号の無い、昔のトンネル？対向車が来そうで怖い・・・
Old tunnel without signal. Are so scared of oncoming car...



そして田園風景に癒される私たち。
Then country view cures us.


快晴で楽しい海日和。
Perfect weather to hit the beach!
 

唯一、私に出番があるものが海。（笑）
It's only my chance in the sea.


旦那さん、子供たちと遊び、なけなし50代の体力も消耗しました。
そりゃそうだ（笑）
Husband lost all fifties power after played with nepfews. 
That makes sence.


夜の船盛。 とにかく刺身が美味い～
At night had Sashimi boat! Anyway, so tasty!


今日はみんなで完食です。
Today eat up by all. 



結果、むちゃくちゃ焼けました。まさしくパンダ。
In fact, got really sun burnt. Just like a giant panda.



山に住んでるけど、やっぱり海はいい（笑）
Usually live in the mountain, but prefer mountain to sea.
