Speaking of moving quickly, it appears 1 month has passed since the magnificent New Year's EVE London Eye fireworks. The first blog in 2012, I'll put British Council's topics behind.
In Ashkan Karbasfrooshan’s article ‘Mark Zuckerberg’s 6 Ingredients For Success’, he mentioned the 6 ingredients for success - Ambition, Vision, Execution, Determination, Luck and Timing. He also classified them into two groups which are the former 4 factors that can be controlled / trained, and the latter 2 factors which can’t be.
Here, I would like to further talk about the former 4 factors.
Ambition and Vision, especially Vision, are something we need to see it, develop it and build it up in our mind. Let’s call this ramified group ‘Thinking’. Execution and Determination can truly be called thorough Acting – we need to take actions and repeat them regardless of hurdles.
Come back to my own issue regarding these two ramified groups, I feel the difficulty of balancing them. Think too much without actions, or take the actions without enough thinking.
In 2012, I am going to find the best balance of ‘Thinking’ and ‘Acting’ for myself.
