千駄ヶ谷でランチ
いとこの個展を見に行って、親戚一同でランチを食べに行った所がここ。東京体育館の敷地内？にあるレストラン『ALICE GARDEN』。聞いた話によると、ここのシェフは、昔『料理の鉄人』にチャレンジャーで出場したことがあるんだそうです。間近で聞いたのかなぁ、鹿賀丈史の「甦るがいいッ！アイアン・シェフっ！！」って。レポーターの「福井さぁんッ！」って。あんな感じで親戚で集まって、食事するってお葬式ぐらいでしかありえないことだから、外で食べたってのもそうだし、新鮮で、ちょっと変な感じで、いいもんでしたよ。やっぱ、いとこはたいしたことをしてくれたよ。ホンと、よくやったぞッ！自慢の妹分です。
僕が食べたのは、『地鶏もも肉のスパイシー・カレー煮込み』￥1,000。おいしくいただきました。
家に帰って話してたら、僕らが行った数日前に、母親と妹が出席した法事で、食べたんですって、ここで。いやぁ、奇遇。びっくりしました。それだけ、有名なレストランなんですね。
